Every time I see companies selling """punk""" jewellery or clothing I become apoplectic with rage. Just saw a £65 padlock necklace advertised to me bitch Fuck you go to your nearest weird little shop that sells everything in the world including fake Rolexes and bongs the size of a toddler. Buy a thing of chain and a padlock. Borrow some bolt cutters someone you know will probably own some and if not get some cheap ones or borrow from a local tool library. Slap em together. Maximum cost £30 and that's MAXIMUM that's assuming you bought over a metre of expensive heavy chain AND bought the bolt cutters. You can do it for under a fiver with a wallet chain and pliers. I still wear a necklace I made when I was 15 out of a wallet chain and pliers and a padlock I got in a set of 3 from poundland. If the issue is dexterity or otherwise disability related then find a friend and swap a favour with them it'll still be cheaper than these scamming poser companies and will help you build community and share resources. Something which is actually punk. Fuckin. Capitalist posers

since needles said the other guy didn't see all his needles until they were right up close, I've been picturing them as almost looking like body hair. just little greyish wisps that sorta lay down flat, until either you see him from the right angle and realize his body hair glints in the sun or you get close enough and think "wow, I'm sure scaring him, all his hair is standing right on end" and then. well.

Total Drama Psycho Noah AU, Duncan realizes something in horror... On the first episode of Total Drama Island, Noah sarcastically made fun of Duncan's piercings and Duncan threatened to give him one while holding his lip, and Noah calmly said no... Duncan held that psycho's lip in his hand NEAR NOAH'S TEETH, Noah could've bitten off Duncan's fingers at any time! 😱

Duncan wouldn't really think about their altercation during their initial introductions in the first Total Drama episode (I think Duncan would make a point of not thinking about Noah at all, post TDDDDI)... That is, until Noah confronts him after his return to World Tour, asking Duncan if the offer for a free piercing is still on the table.

That's when the memories of him grabbing Noah by the lip, needle in one hand, come crashing over him like a tsunami- which is swiftly followed by an even larger ice-cold wave of sheer terror at the fact that he'd put his vulnerable fingers anywhere near that psycho's mouth.

And Noah just grins at him- that unsettling, uncanny grin that's too wide, too sharp and pointy and full of razor sharp teeth to be natural- as he patiently awaits an answer from the punk.

Duncan's got a reputation to uphold, however, so he quickly swallows his fear completely justified hesitance and chokes out a rebuttal to the cynic's obvious taunt.

(Something about how he made fun of Duncan's piercings originally, and/or something about Noah being too physically frail to handle being pierced. I don't know.)

Noah responds in kind by claiming that Duncan's too scared of "little old him" to do something as innocuous as piercing his ears- though the nerd claims he'd look killer with some snake bites, followed by a pointed look towards the crescent shaped scar on Duncan's hand- which is just enough to rile up the delinquent's quick temper and fragile ego into agreeing to do just that.

Thus Noah gets his ears pierced by an equal parts terrified and indignant Duncan.

He's... eerily unreactive through the whole ordeal, too. Duncan knows he's a few crayons short of a whole packet, and that he barely reacts to threats of any kind, but watching the nerd barely even blink at being stabbed with a burning-hot needle is just downright creepy.

He draws the line at the snake bites, though. Duncan's not brave stupid enough to put his hands anywhere near Noah's mouth again. Especially when Noah (jokingly... ish) snaps his teeth towards Duncan's fingers whenever they stray too close to his maw.

I like the jotun horn jewelry/decoration thing but i think it wouldnt be like. Gold. Bc where are they getting gold from? Where are they mining it and smelting it and stuff? Idk why. It just doesnt compute in my brain, it doesnt seem to fit their whole thing and mentslly i csnt imagine the place having a ton of gold thst didnt get ripped away when they lost the war. Even though aesthetically i get that it looks nice.

I don’t even mind Jotunheim naturally having a lot of gold *in the past*, (or whenever) I just don’t like the way people use it as an orientalism-vibe literary device. There’s often no explanation given for the gold either, especially in a post-colonised world unless there’s a note on ‘this is ALL the gold Jotunheim had left and LOKI has it bc he needs to look pretty (and like a woman)’
